  • Open Day - IIS Meucci Castelfidardo

    19 November, Castelfidardo

    It’s time for pupils in their last year of lower secondary school to choose an upper secondary school and start imagining their future: a path chosen on the basis of their interests, individual aptitudes and motivations. The “Science Day” is part of the “orientation” project promoted by the Marche Region and is under the patronage of the Municipality of Castelfidardo.

The initiative aims to showcase places of culture, and of scientific culture in particular, an important heritage for the whole community.   • Science in the square

    July and August, Senigallia

    An opportunity to meet and a challenge to foster in everyone, young and old, a healthy desire to learn and experiment. “fosforo” (phosphorus) for our minds, to support cultural and scientific life with a series of activities on science, philosophy and art, involving schools, families and citizens.

  • Future Camp

    11 July – 9 September, Senigallia

    Several weeks of summer camps aimed at training new educators who are at ease with interculturality and with the hardships of those affected by educational poverty, and who have a strong background in science and nature. The young educators will be at the Future Camps to inspire the children, introduce them to soft skills and keep the spectre of social isolation at bay,

    Inventori in Famiglia is a format with a very clear message and goal: being an innovator means getting involved and using your creativity, and the family can be just the place where, by working together, tomorrow’s innovators grow up. Several TV episodes were made and broadcast on Videolina, along with 3 books.

    The festival aims to promote astronomy as an ever-evolving scientific discipline, with workshops, lectures, exhibitions, shows and entertainment: substantial content combined with a lively, fun approach that suits all ages, curious and attentive to new technologies.

    L’Isola di Einstein is the first international festival of science shows in Italy, an event dedicated to science, technology, nature and innovation, brought to life through the most engaging techniques of science communication and street performance.

  • Escape Room - Escape from the Fortress

    25 July – 30 September, Senigallia

    The first Covid-compliant escape room!

    “Escape from the Fortress” is in fact the first escape room designed specifically to be played in times of COVID, so players won’t have to touch anything they find in the game rooms. The whole game is run by a BOT on the Telegram app, which provides clues and game instructions.

  • Water exhibition

    25 July – 30 September

    A journey through fascinating interactive stations to understand the properties, the history and the importance of WATER, an irreplaceable primary resource for humankind that is already heavily compromised by human pollution. While museums were closed, it was turned into a virtual tour for schools and the general public.

  • Inventori in famiglia

    July 2020, Online

    Inventori in Famiglia is a format with a very clear message and goal: being an innovator means getting involved and using your creativity, and the family can be just the place where, by working together, tomorrow’s innovators grow up.     Sinnova is Sardinia’s Innovation Fair, an annual event on the technologies of the future. 10LAB took the Fair’s themes on tour around schools, with stops in the island’s main towns.

    The Department of Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism of the University of Macerata – under the patronage of the Municipality and the Civic Museums of Macerata – is organising the 3rd Week of Excellence “Young people, students and ‘infinite worlds’” at the Polo Bertelli from 21 to 25 October 2019, as part of the “Innovation, Internationalisation, Inclusion for the University” project.

    Strambinaria – Crazy about science is the event that will bring communication professionals and sociologists to Strambino for two days, running talks, workshops, shows, entertainment and science installations all around the town during the patron saint’s festival.

    CaterRaduno is the event eagerly awaited by all fans of Caterpillar, the cult Radio 2 programme. A happy mix of shows and concerts featuring big names in Italian music, every summer it draws crowds of fans from all over Italy to enjoy the fun lavishly served up by the brilliant wit of the presenters and their guests.

  • Mini maker faire

    The Trieste Mini Maker Faire, organised by ICTP’s Science Dissemination Unit, is a true gathering of makers: inventors, creatives and enthusiasts of the culture of making will step up to show off their ideas. Maker Faire is in fact a global movement that aims to inspire, educate and entertain curious and creative people of all ages!

    The Manifattura Tabacchi will be transformed into a true creative workshop where students in the last three years of upper secondary school will come face to face with the technologies of the future, imagining, building, discussing and sharing their own vision of what awaits us in the coming decades.

    Visionaria Senigallia grew out of a project aiming to build a community interested in the visual arts, and photography in particular. Visionaria is a co-designed space hosting workshops, exhibitions, installations, courses and other activities created with the contribution of anyone interested in photography and the visual arts more generally

    27–31 October 2018, Corinaldo

    Strolling through the alleys of our medieval-Renaissance town on late-October evenings, amid a faint smell of pumpkins and candles, you come across evocative settings, fascinating scenery, unsettling presences, themed taverns – where food and drink are served by ogres and witches –, mysterious characters dancing and playing, fires that appear and disappear: wholesome fun with a good dose of shivers. Remember, entry is free… but leaving is not guaranteed!

These 4 disciplines work together to connect what is learned in the classroom with real-world experience. fosforo: offers week-long programmes in schools that tackle these 4 themes in a very hands-on, far-from-traditional way!

    La Città dei bambini e dei ragazzi is an educational play area for children and young people aged 2 to 13, where they can play and discover science and technology while having fun.   • Bicincanto nel vulcano

    4–5 July 2015, Roccamonfina

    A weekend of trekking and cycle touring on the extinct volcano of Roccamonfina, in the Alto Casertano area.

  • Children’s White Midnight

    4 July 2015, Ancona

    The event includes sports activities, among them the city’s first Color Baby Run; there will be games and science activities, a creative circus play area, a baby-parking area, and performances and shows of every kind: breakdance, violin ensembles, soap-bubble shows, magic, puppets, storytellers, aerial silks and fire; a photo exhibition; and finally pony riding.

  • Football Festival

    30 June 2015, Perugia

    Kick-off for the Football Festival, the first and only festival in the world dedicated to the tales, the myths, the stories, the culture, the stars and the people who created the epic of football. The Umbrian capital hosts the first event of its kind in Italy and indeed in the world, with a packed programme starring today’s and yesterday’s football champions, readings and concerts, street food, video games, table football and human table football.
