ECO is a project made possible thanks to the support of Fondazione Cariverona. ECO’s educational programme follows the general principles and commitments of the charter for biodiversity education, which places the green transition at the centre as a vision for a future in which, by 2050, climate neutrality is achieved and all ecosystems are restored, resilient and adequately protected.

  • Raising awareness

    Raising community awareness of environmental sustainability and biodiversity protection (Goal 15 of the 2030 Agenda – Life on Land)

  • Enhance

    Enhancing the local area by converting marginal green spaces (Goal 11 of the 2030 Agenda – Sustainable cities and communities)

  • Belong

    Strengthening a community’s sense of belonging to a place shared by all citizens, through a “bottom-up” approach borrowed from Communities of Practice.

  • Empower

    Raising young people’s and adults’ awareness of their local area through educational and “citizen science” activities (Goal 4 of the 2030 Agenda – Quality education)

  • Eco-meetups!

    The ECO project activities are free with booking via EVENTBRITE. Only book places for the children: parents don’t need to book. The activities will take place in Parco della Cesanella, Senigallia (entrance from Via Guercino 37) on the following dates:
