Linfa
LINFA is the project run by fosforo: the science festival together with Fondazione Caritas Senigallia, Sena nova and UNICAM, with the support of Fondazione Cariverona. The project aims at the environmental regeneration of the Bosco Mio park and offers free activities, booking required. Below you’ll find the list of available workshops and visits.
Escape wood
Take part in the new escape woods, immersed in nature! Choose which challenge to try from the four listed below. The escape woods aim to entertain audiences of all ages, stimulating their environmental awareness, intuition and curiosity and getting them hooked with problem-solving challenges. Two challenges take place at Boscomio, one accessible at any time and one available by booking only; one takes place at the Parco della Cesanella and is accessible at any time; you can take part in the last one from wherever you are, even from the comfort of your own sofa: all you need is an internet connection!

The Boscomio diary
The explorer Fiodoruccini has disappeared! And with him, the pages of his precious research diary on the Boscomio park! Can you put his diary back together by following in his footsteps? Succeeding is important to save the wood and its biodiversity! The alien species
Boscomio is in danger! An alien insect species has been hidden in a research area of the park, and this attack could destroy the wood forever. Up to 5 people can play each game together: they’ll have to investigate the area, quarantine the alien larva and save Boscomio! Granny Redtail’s secret ingredients
Little Fulvo is worried about his birthday: if he can’t discover all of Granny Redtail’s secret ingredients, he won’t be able to make his favourite cake! But all is not lost: he can still piece the recipe together with the clues hidden in the park. Help him in this search surrounded by greenery. An escape wood you can play entirely online from wherever you are: all you need is the will to put yourself to the test and an internet connection!

Come and discover its health benefits! – 10:00 Boscomio 26–28/05/2023 – FOSFORO: THE SCIENCE FESTIVAL – four days of events for schools and the public, with live links from the woods – Senigallia town centre, Teatro La Fenice, live links with Boscomio 09/06/2023 – WHAT TREE ARE YOU? – Each of us has a special bond with nature, because we are part of nature! Discovering that we are part of the environment around us helps us respect it and take care of it. With simplicity and creativity, we’ll take home a small but colourful taste of the woods – 18:00 Boscomio 16/06/2023 – BOTANICAL GARDENS BETWEEN MYTHS, LEGENDS AND REALITY – We’ll discover the history of botanical gardens in Italy and their importance in ancient times and today. We’ll also talk about the digital apps used to identify plants. – 18:00 Boscomio 23/06/2023 – STORIES UNDER THE STARS – An evening of stargazing to learn how to find your way by the stars, accompanied by the ancient stories our ancestors drew in the sky. – 21:15 Parco della Cesanella 07/07/2023 – MANDALA IN THE WOODS – The woodland mandala is the representation of our universe… when we are in nature! Too often, in other settings, we are so distracted and detached that we can’t focus on the harmony around us. – 18:00 Boscomio 14/07/2023 – BIODIVERSITY TRAIL – A trail inside the park that aims to create an educational set-up for the new natural ecosystem. Thanks to the valuable contribution of all the project partners, we’ll be able to walk along this new trail and discover how the park grows and evolves over time while preserving its biodiversity. – 18:00 Boscomio 21/07/2023 – FOOD WOOD – How many foods can you find in a wood? And did you know that there’s loads of science hidden among them?
