The artisan

Tiziano Donzelli was born in Switzerland. After earning his art school diploma at the “F. Mengaroni” Institute in Pesaro in 1983, in the “Ceramic Art” section, he began his artistic career. At first he offered decorations and shapes with an antique flavour, which flourished gloriously in his homeland from the time of Federico da Montefeltro. Vases, plates and amphorae of various shapes, with images, were part of his early production. His artistic output ranges from antique to modern majolica; he also develops different decorative techniques and genres, portraits, custom decorations on large surfaces and floral motifs, always preserving the distinctiveness and uniqueness of his pieces. He takes part in and organises many group and solo exhibitions, meeting with success and appreciation. His decorations adorn homes in Italy and abroad. He currently works and teaches courses in ceramic decoration, oil painting and drawing at his workshop in Pesaro, at via Toscanini 5.
