Factory Lab

Factory Lab is a project funded by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Department for Equal Opportunities. A creativity and digital fabrication workshop, a learning space for tackling science subjects in an innovative and stimulating way. A training ground for soft skills such as problem solving, entrepreneurship, collaboration and the willingness to put yourself to the test.

The programme is aimed at 20 students from the school’s first-year classes, who will tackle subjects such as maths, physics, technology and sustainability through science demonstrations, hands-on workshops and prototyping technologies. A Fab Lab-style making workshop that uses the methodologies of project-based learning, tinkering and teach to learn.

The students will take on a project with a “real” goal: creating an educational kit to donate to children supported by Fondazione Caritas Senigallia.

The school

The 5 games we made together

Depending on the number and age of their children, each family will receive one or more of the games made during the project. Staff from Fondazione Caritas Senigallia will deliver a Factory Lab bag with the materials inside directly to the families.
